Candle Safety & Maintenance Tips

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from flammable materials like curtains or bedding.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Place on a heat-resistant surface while burning.
• Trim wicks to 1/4 inch before each burn. Keeping a short wick helps extend the candle’s life, minimizes soot, and ensures optimal performance.
• For the first burn, allow the candle to melt fully across the surface (about 3-4 hours) to prevent tunneling.

Additional Candle Care

• Avoid drafts to prevent uneven burning and excess soot.
• Let candles cool completely before relighting to maintain wax quality and fragrance.
• Use a candle wick dipper tool to extinguish flames cleanly, eliminating smoke and keeping the wick in optimal relighting condition.
• Store candles in a cool, dry place with lid and out of direct sunlight to preserve fragrance.
• Discontinue burning at 1/2 inch of remaining wax to prevent vessel overheating and to ensure the jar’s reusability when repurposing for alternate uses.
• To remove remaining wax, use a melting plate, candle lamp or candle crock - pour out melted wax and wipe the inside of the jar with a paper towel.
• This glass jar is dishwasher safe. Clean jar completely before repurposing.
